Ski Vegas? Yes, believe it or not, You can snow ski very close to the Las Vegas Strip or Downtown Vegas area. About 20 minutes away is The Resort on Mount Charleston. This isn't to say that You are going to have the best ski vacation of Your life, but You are within minutes of where You probably would stay in Las Vegas so maybe You take a couple days here and then go back to the normal Las Vegas. If nothing else, its beautiful scenery. The white top mountains and the views of Las Vegas are breath taking. Imagine telling Your friends You are going to Ski in Las Vegas on Your vacation, They probably will not believe You. I would say that 99 percent of People that visit Las Vegas even 10 or more times have never heard of The Resort on Mount Charleston. Its not like the resorts on the strip are going to talk about it, They do not want You to know it exist.

This resort has the same things that You expect in a Ski Resort in Lake Tahoe or Vail Colorado, the oversize couches, the fireplaces and the snow capped mountain views. A cozy pub that it is nice for that night cap or just to unwind after a busy day in the snow or hiking in the mountains.

This resort is what You would think of in the winter but it is also beautiful in the summer. When it's 109 degrees in Las Vegas, its nice and just right in Mount Charleston.

Give this Resort a try, take a break from the gambling and try some skiing or just some rest and relaxation. If You have a rent car, You should take this short trip to at least check it out for Your next vacation.
