El Cortez Casino Overall Atmosphere: Fun place, little off the Fremont Experience so if you go after dark go with a group. The Security at the Casino is very good, they keep the street people out and keep the customers safe. The Hotel requires a room key to get in the elevator. Check out the rest rooms on the hotel check in side, really over the top modern.
